This guy right here is a triple threat: he is a singer/song writer, illustrator/comic creator, and all around one of the nicest humans I’ve ever met. When he asked if I would take headshot photos for him for a new endeavor, I jumped at the chance!
One of the things to consider for any photo session is what to wear. For headshots, I recommend solid colors that complement your skin tone, hair and eye color. Generally natural hues work best – blues, greens, and neutrals in the beige and gray families. As your photographer, I will pay attention to the combination of outfit, backdrop and lighting to make sure the focus is on you – your expressions and your personality.
There are lots of reasons someone might need a headshot. Sometimes these are also called personal branding sessions, which is a photo session for a solo entrepreneur to promote themselves. This could be a physical product (e.g., custom cakes, floral arrangements), a digital offering (website, blog content), or consulting (nutrition counseling, college tutor), among many other things.
