Fall family photo session
Can I pick a favorite? Ok, cool – fall is my favorite. My favorite for a fall family photo session to be specific. Temperatures have dipped a little. The air is clear and crisp. And I love that ‘back to school’ vibe. After the long days of summer, everything and everyone seem to have a bright and refreshed glow to it once we turn the calendars to September. And this adorable, growing family was no exception!
Years ago, I had the chance to photograph this young couple’s engagement photos. It is so much fun to see them move into this next chapter of their lives and welcome their baby girl. And they are more than up for the adventure! It is clear they are smitten with her (and with each other :)).
This little one was observant and chill, but once dad started tossing her in the air, it was nothing but squeals of delight. It was just the sweetest!
While I love a big baby smile as much as anyone, there is something about her serious gaze that gets me.
Her little gesture here mimicking mom’s melted my heart. And those cheeks!
No doubt this little one not only knows she is loved, but surrounded by love. Lucky little one. Good job mom and dad!

Wayland has so many pretty locations for family photo sessions and because it borders communities west of Boston including Lincoln and Concord – as well as being close to Lexington – it is a great option for many.
